Well it has been another good month all told, even though it got a little unsettled toward the end of it, but winter is starting to reach out now, so it's to be expected.Now your probably thinking what is the point in looking back over the past month, what is the point of the round up at all. Sorry this one is a little late, but here we go. So August was a bitter sweet month. On one hand we didn't quite make it on the monthly total from last year, but we did get our 1000th capture in this month, ahead of 2017 and 2018's by a whole month yet again.August was also another good month for Pb's to get broken, 6 altogether, 5 from the U.K and one from over the pond.They were as follows ...... 28lb from Matt Wood, 31.6 from Alec Jordon, 33.12 Cliff Fiske, 37.8 Luke Roberts and Adam Ault with his Common...

Once again for the 3rd month in a row, captures have surpassed what happened in the year before and even the year before that. A total of 158 fish were caught this month 128 fish to 19.5 / 26 Twenty's to 28lb / 3 Thirty's to 33.14 (2 from the UK and one from France and one French 40 on the nose.
